- Light: This plant likes light but not direct sunlight. If you decide to buy plants online, then make sure that the casting is not burnt out from the direct sun.
- Water: Begonia likes moderate watering, but do not water the tuberous begonias so that the water stagnates in the groove of the tuber, that is, right under the root. When the plant begins to turn yellow, watering is limited, and gradually brought to minimum - light moisture.
- Temperature: To grow in a house, the plant needs a warm room temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Do not leave the plant outdoors at temperatures below 5 °C.
- Humidity: Prepare moderate moisture for the plant. Begonia also loves humid air, but moisture on the leaves leads to an outbreak of gray mold.
- Feed: You should only fertilize during the period of active growth. For feeding, use complex fertilizers for succulents. It loves potash fertilizers. It is better to use liquid fertilizer, which will be convenient for you to add to the soil with the next watering.
Begonia is not a capricious plant. Young begonias need bright, diffused sunlight and no drafts. Temperature and humidity are slightly higher than for adult specimens.
Plant height goes from 25 to 30 cm. You can store tubers until next season in pots, in a cool place at a temperature of 14-16 degrees, moisten the soil occasionally.
In our online store, you can buy this 20 cm high plant in an exclusive 12 cm diameter pot.
